Clarence Moses, Jr.'s background in security, corrections, and law enforcement expands over 17 years. Therefore, private investigations was a natural interest and professional progression. Clarence brings a personal touch to the Business of providing professional investigative services. The experiences gained in security, corrections, and law enforcement has contributed significantly to the expertise of Moses Investigative Services, Inc. with regard to its ability to work with a variety of diverse clients. Invaluable experience was received as a law enforcement officer affording Clarence the ability to exercise great discipline, critical thinking, and strong judgement in the day to day tasks of providing quality investigative services.

Direct, plan and manage functions related to all daily operations including finance and accounting, human resources and ensuring compliance with the State of Florida. Establish policies and procedures as well as plan and implement training modules to provide on-going education for security officers. Establish individualized written standards to ensure the prevention and deterring of criminal activity on secured sites to include the implementation of strategies that ensure public safety. Direct and coordinate all investigation and reporting of security concerns to appropriate management of secured sites. Manage all personnel functions including hiring, termination, disciplinary actions, promotions, etc. Develop rapport with management of secured sites for the establishment of effective working relationships to ensure proper execution of contracts.

Plan case preparation, crisis planning and response, suspect interrogation and witness investigation. Charge citizens with violation of the City of Gretna’s laws as appropriate. Appear and testify in court related to citizen’s violation of the law. Monitor and control administrative aspects, including writing detailed investigative/incident reports and evidence retention. Consult daily with the Chief of Police to ensure that the goals and objectives of the department are carried forward.
Gadsden Correctional Institution

Supervised up to 50 inmates in a medium security prison facility. Defuse disruptive behaviors by verbal interventions as appropriate and appropriate physical force when necessary. Used skills to determine potential inmate problems such as suicide risk, drug usage, assaultive behavior, etc. Communicate information regarding security, safety and operations through appropriate chain of command. Prepared daily narrative reports describing events transpiring involving specific incidents and special observations related to inmate movements and behavior.
